Practicing lawyer since 1986 and with more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer in the internal Legal Department of a banking entity, between 2007 and 2014 he held the positions of Director of Legal Counsel and Regulatory Compliance and Secretary of the Board of Directors and of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee. Between 2011 and 2014 he was also responsible for the entity before the SEPBLAC and Chairman of the Internal Control Body (OCI) for the prevention of money laundering.

From these responsibilities he has managed the bank’s contracting and litigation portfolio, intervening in the implementation of regulatory compliance and good corporate governance cultures.

He has also been Director and Secretary of the Board of Directors of different companies, both national and foreign.

He specializes in international trade and in the legal development of business with risk jurisdictions.

In addition, Fernando is a professor of International Contracts in the MBA and MDCI postgraduate masters of ESIC Business School, of International Legal Consultancy in the Master of Access to the Legal Profession of the Camilo José Cela University and also teaches training programs at the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid.

In 2015 he joined Estudio Jurídico Almagro, S.L.P.
